Joanne Chen

is a Chinese-American designer and illustrator based in California. She attended Rhode Island School of Design and received a BFA in Illustration. She is proud to be a first-gen college graduate with the goal of spreading creative literacy through her design work.

She loves creating vibrant designs, integrating personality and play into a variety of projects in visual communication and children’s books. Whether she is designing brands, books, illustrating fun narratives, or tinkering with interactive products, her goal is always to communicate empowering messages that are accessible and impactful.
